The 2019 International City & County Management Association (ICMA) Annual Conference will take place Oct. 20-23 in Nashville (with pre-conference activities beginning on Oct. 19). Advance registration is available now through Oct. 10.
The ICMA Annual Conference is always a valuable educational and networking event for local government managers, assistant managers and administrators – no matter the locale. But with Nashville being just one state away, this year’s conference offers an opportunity for North Carolina ICMA members a much more reasonable chance to gain from the knowledge and experiences of the event. With three and a half days of learning, inspiration, and connection, attendees are equipped with the tools and support they need to make their communities a better place to live, work, and play.
This year’s annual conference will boast a series of educational tracks, including topics on Leadership, Futurism, Equity & Inclusion, Sustainability and much more. In addition, a cadre of well-known keynote speakers will inform and inspire attendees. Among the speakers slated to present are Jake Wood, CEO and co-founder of Team Rubicon; business and technology innovator Leonard Brody; Gina Rudin, bestselling author of Practical Genius; Bonnie St. John, Paralympic ski medalist, author and leadership consultant; and more.
